We provide quality Martial Arts instruction for all ages. Our training program teaches karate as an art form, sport and conditioning exercise. These classes teach defensive/ offensive techniques. Students learn to defend themselves while increasing awareness and self confidence.
Japan Karate Federation schools are affiliated with the Japan Karate Federation Ryobu-Kai which has its headquarters in Tokyo, Japan, where Grand Master Konishi resides.

Japan Karate Federation has been in business since 1969. We operate schools in the Portland, Salem and Seattle metropolitan areas.
What is your primary product or service?
Traditional Karate martial arts instruction.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Our instructors come from a variety of backgrounds, but the interest in pursuing a healthy lifestyle that martial arts provides is the common bound that brings us together.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are USANKF members and our schools are family oriented.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Five in Portland/ Salem. Five in the Seattle Metro area. One in Montana. Expansion is always a possibility.
