How long have you been in business?
Cal Skate Skateboards opened in the Spring of 1976 in Downtown Portland. We are the oldest and largest Skateboard shop in the Northwest.
What is your primary product or service?
We carry over 350 Skateboard decks and completes covering all aspects of Skating. Our clothing lines come directly from the skateboard industry along with our shoes from Vans and Vox
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I started skateboarding in the early 60s which led to my intrest in the business.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are a hands on shop that caters to everyone interested in skating offering free service and advice to keep you on your board.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one store in the heart of Old Town/Chinatown in Downtown Portland

Our shop is on N.W 6th Avenue between N.W. Davis and Everett Street right on the Max light rail line.

Monday Thru Friday 11:00 AM-6:00 PM
Saturday 10:00AM-6:00PM
