How long have you been in business?
Crown Carpets was founded in 1963. We have been making customers happy for 53 years.
What is your primary product or service?
Crown Carpets can furnish and install carpet, sheet vinyl, hardwoods, laminate flooring, luxury vinyl tile and plank, and ceramic tile. We also offer a number of products for countertops.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
My father started Crown Carpets when I was 10 years old. I truly am a "rugrat", having been involved in the business for most of my life. I've done installing, warehousing, estimating, shipping and logistics, purchasing, commercial and residential product specification, sales, and management.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Crown Carpets operates from a larger building than most and so can maintain a massive product inventory on site. Our volume buying allows us to negotiate better pricing which translates to lower prices for the consumer. So Crown's customers get their flooring faster and pay less. Crown also has its own estimators and installers so we can offer shorter turnaround times for installation and have more control over the finished product.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Crown Carpets currently operates from one location in Gresham, Oregon.

Crown accepts cash, checks, and most credit cards. We also offer "same-as-cash" financing on your good credit.

Crown Carpets services the greater Portland metropolitan area and all of its outlying suburbs.
